Born in 1963 in Fethiye, he completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Fethiye. He graduated from Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in 1983. He completed his compulsory service in Isparta Şarkikaraağaç district Çarıklısaray Health Centre between 1989-1991. Until 2016, he worked in different institutions of the Ministry of Health. In 2010, he participated in the Family Medicine Certificate programme and worked as a Family Doctor in Fethiye Family Medicine Centre No.3. In May 2024, he started working at Private Lokman Hekim Esnaf Hospital.
